MOE doing more to track foreign students who took grants & defaulted

据说反对党又开始找茬了，然后moe minister 在议会说会加大追踪打击力度

It takes action against those who default on service obligations by pursuing liquidated damages against them, Education Minister Heng Swee Keat said in Parliament on Friday.

When liquidated damages cannot be recovered, their status as bond defaulters would be taken into consideration should they apply to work or reside in Singapore.

这意味着break bond的the worst case就是would be taken into consideration should they apply to work or reside in Singapore. 想想也是，每年至少也有几百上千个人default,他光打官司的律师费都能把moe搞破产了

MOE不会破产吧
人家是政府机构 有政府机构的专职律师。。。而且所有事件都是一样 做完一个 以后按照既定程序做下去就行了。。
PS 拿bond的童鞋还是好好履行下义务吧。。

讨论个技术问题
moe当然是可以按照standard procedure给bond defaulter发liquidated damages，但是肯定没多少人会真去还，what's the next step, 去各个国家去起诉bond defaulter,虽然我没有咨询过律师，但是这个步骤没法standardized 吧。教育部长explicitely state，拉入黑名单，以后不用来新加坡了.
