Sunny Instruments Singapore specializes in R&D and manufacturing of high value Optical Metrology Instruments. In addition, we have a group of dedicated and highly skilled R&D staffs based here in Singapore.

1. Manufacturing engineer

Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and co-ordinate production activities
Lead & direct a team of Production Specialists to fulfil daily production output/yield targets, meet delivery schedules, improve cycle-time and maintain healthy standards
Monitor and track WIP, cycle-time, materials, equipment performances and work closely with equipment maintenance, product and process engineering to constantly maintain production up-time
Constantly analyze, evaluate, and work to improve production flow
Ensure line discipline compliance to operating/safety procedure/attendance
Monitor and work on improving operation cost/spending
Participate in plant level continuous improvement programs
Prepare reports and report to the Manager on line issues
Handle line management and control of direct/indirect reporting

Requirements:

2 to 3 years experience
Diploma
Only Singaporean and PR need apply.

2. software engineer

Responsibilities:

Development, testing, support and documentation of new product features, based on customer requirements.
Maintenance and enhancement for the existing products on PC based video measurement systems.
Design algorithm/implementation verification and validation framework
Involve in various equipment development projects.

Requirements:

Min. Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or others with relevant skill.
Relevant computer vision and image processing experience.
Strong in C++ Programming Language (familiar with STL, Boost), GUI design, and Windows Programming.
Having experience of developing software (one SDLC) is an advantage.
Knowledge in Qt, and hardware interface is a plus.

3. Sales engineer

Responsibilities:

Handling customer’s enquires
Develop new customers & service existing customers in Asia (Singapore and Malaysia, China)
Prepare presentation materials for monthly sales review and company presentation
Plan sales forecast
In charge of products for Laser interferometer, laser vibrometer, and other measurement instruments, customized project.

Requirements:

Able to present confidently, good listening skills, comfortable with people.
Some sales experience would be advantageous.
Conversant in English and Chinese preferred. Good written and comprehension of English language is especially important.
Degree/Diploma holder from a recognized institute.
Computer skills (word, excel, power point, etc.)
Valid Class 3 driver’s license.
Possess own car (Monthly transport allowance provided).
Occasional overseas travel may be required.

4. Service engineer

Responsibilities:

Installation and technical support of computer hardware & software and equipments for the customers.
Providing preventive training and maintenance for the customer.
Troubleshooting hardware and software problemSupporting end user application and provide helpdesk support.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer or Control Engineering.
Experienced in trouble-shooting for machines in the automation industry.
Minimal 3 year industry experience in related field.
Fluent in spoken and written in both Chinese and English.
