Puchaser (3 Years Contract)
To be responsible for arranging import from oversea & local purchase
To negotiate cost reduction so as to support the Company’s cost reduction programme.
To negotiate delivery schedules with the suppliers.
To monitor the suppliers’ delivery performance against purchase order delivery dates.
To expedite the supply of “critical shortage” components.
To co-ordinate with the departments concerned in order to avert or minimize production stoppages due to a disruption of material supply.
To constantly seek and identify the most cost effective method and/or source of supply.
Issue Purchase Orders and liaise with site personnel on material requisition
Request for quotations from supplier and sourcing for materials
Minimum Diploma qualifications in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Good understanding of procurement and logistic process work flow
Min 2 years experience in Purchasing of Marine/ Oil and gas industry.
Strong Interpersonal relationship skills, spoken English & Mandarin is preferred
Proficiency in Ms Excel, Words & Power Point
