Founded in 2007, Quaffs is an early-stage web2.0 social media startup
that is committed to develop a cutting-edge and innovative social
network engine to power up online communities anywhere in the world.
One of our major clients include the Singapore National Arts Council
(www.noisesingapore.com). We are headquartered in Singapore and has
received funding from private angel investors and SPRING Singapore.

Our team consists of driven and energetic people who share the passion
for internet, technology and creating value in what we do. Among 8 of
us, we represent 3 nationalities, 5 races, speak 7 languages and have
travelled 21 countries across USA, Europe and Asia.

To take our startup from development to early-growth stage, we are now
seeking suitable candidates to bring Quaffs.com to greater heights

Ideally, we prefer someone who wishes to be based in Singapore for at
least 1 year,
but we are open to consider part-time or offsite contract basis.
We are also open to students who are looking for internships.

Web Application Developer (PHP & AJAX)

You are a web application developer who has a gift for developing
world-class applications and excited about working with other talented
individuals to create THE web application that matters to people.

Responsibility

* Develop exciting modules to simplify and enhance everyday life
for people who uses the internet daily.
* Enhance the technical team with your brilliance in programming,
developing web applications and writing algorithms.
* Debug and troubleshoot to improve the functionality of
applications thru simplification.



Qualifications

* Passionate about technology, software, programming and writing
of algorithms.
* Expert in HTML/CSS, PHP and fluent in web application design patterns.
* Expert in AJAX. You can tell us the differences between MooTools
and Prototype. (We are into jQuery J )
* Expert in MYSQL. You are fluent in MYSQL 5.0
* Enjoy solving tough problems with other hardcore programmers.
You love learning from other Programming experts.
* Experienced in programming scalable web applications. You have a
portfolio with codes you can point us to and you are proud to present
your work to others.
* You've worked on web products on rapid development cycles.
"Rapid" here means 2 - 4 week development cycles.
* You enjoy high levels of autonomy but you are also a great team
player who can communicate well with your team-mates.
* Ideally, you graduated from a polytechnic, college or graduate
school and have a technical degree or diploma in computer science or
other related disciplines.
