去NTU的NIE（National Institute of Education）读teaching chinese的diploma，学校给了个邮件如是说： you are advised to purchase your own travel insurance for the period from Aug to Dec 2012 as during this period, you are not covered under any medical/hospitalisation insurance. 请问这个travel insurance有必要办吗，应该如何办理呢？
